Blog 8: Personal Opinions

 

Good afternoon everyone, today I chose to talk a little about my opinion about the Chilean current affairs. As a person who is in the process of getting to know how the Chilean reality works, I have realized that there are many things that are wrong in our country, such as the fact that the price of things is rising very quickly and something is not being done about it, for me it is unusual because the pandemic potentially affected us in the economy and it is important that this can be regulated. I am concerned about how the pensioners are going to be able to subsist with pensions that are barely enough to eat or pay the bills of a common household, I can not imagine those people who have to decide whether they are going to eat or have electricity.

A couple of days ago I saw in the news how the "specialists" said that the most conservative AFP fund would have had a rise thanks to the fact that the 10% withdrawal of pensions had not been approved, something that to me did not make any sense, because the funds generally fall independently of what is happening in Chile, something that I believe should not happen, to me all this is a strategy so that the fourth 10% withdrawal is not approved.

In spite of this, I think it is very good that the municipalities are trying to minimize the increase of things with some strategies, as in the case of gas.

Blog 7: Talking about your pet / favorite animal

 

Good afternoon everyone, I am going to tell you about my pets, I have had several pets throughout my life, and most of them are dogs, but I am really delighted with cats, these animals are really too adorable, they are my weakness.

About 9 months ago we adopted our kitten Benito, he is called that way because my dad used to watch "Don gato y su pandilla". Benito is a very independent cat and he doesn't like to be shown affection, we reign with my family because he always tries to stay away from us during the day, but when someone of the family disappears the cat feels it and comes back to the house asking for affection, it's as if he misses us.

Without a doubt Benito has become fundamental in the house, I am not used to him very fast, my little sister adores him and hugs him a lot as I do, which bothers the kitty, but in my defense it is inevitable to do it.

Benito already knows how to express himself with us, with different meows we know what he needs, or when he is upset or when he wants affection, he is a very special cat and we love him very much even if he scratches us when he doesn't want us to take him.

We are happy when he comes back to the house, he even invites his friends over hahaha, the problem is when he starts to fight.

Blog 6: Post Graduate Studies

 

Good afternoon, everyone, today's topic is the possibilities of a postgraduate study, I think that even before I started studying architecture, I already had a notion that I wanted to continue learning, during these last years I have gone through several things related to start studying in a higher education institution and I have realized that, in spite of everything, I continue with the same idea. I intend to continue with my career because it will give me a job opportunity and I will be able to do what I want with my life, I will be able to have the self-sufficiency to handle myself in a job and continue studying other things that are not necessarily related to what I am currently studying.

Although it sounds very repetitive, my main motivation is that studying and diversifying my knowledge would allow me to have new experiences, maybe I can study in another place far from my home, interact with other people, help others by providing my skills or knowledge acquired, many things could happen.

If I could get a postgraduate degree, I would like to do it in Germany, there they have a lot of advanced technology that is not yet worked in Chile, it would be great to know how architecture is developed in places that do not have the same difficulties as here.

Blog 4: Favorite kind of music.

 

                                       

Good morning everyone, today I am going to tell you about my musical tastes. Throughout my life I have varied a lot in terms of tastes, I think that more than anything is to experience new sensations or memories that come from a melody or lyrics makes the musical genre is irrelevant at the time. Thinking about it I think I always go back to listen to dramatic melodies, in adolescence I was very interested in listening to the soundtrack of movies, I do not know if that is part of a specific genre, but I love to this day how the orchestra sounds. If I had the possibility I would go to an orchestra concert, of different types, it must be entertaining, because being in the same place and feeling the emotions that each composition transmits could make everything so powerful.

I started paying more attention to melodies when I realized that sad movies made me connect more with the characters in a movie, to the point of crying when the scene was one of unexpected death. I remember that I really liked the trailer of the Chilean series "Perdona nuestros pecados", I researched until I found the melody that was playing, it was great when I finally found it, in fact I still have it in my playlist. Blog 3: Favorite movie

Good afternoon everyone, today's topic on a favorite movie, because I still don't give anime a chance.

It is difficult to choose a favorite movie for me, I constantly change my tastes, but so far the winner is the movie "San Andreas", I see it a lot with my mom, because we like apocalyptic movies or where the earth suffers some kind of crisis that makes the characters have to put their survival instinct to the limit, like this one, where earthquakes and earthquakes and tsunamis occur and destroy many buildings and homes and the worst hit area is San Andreas.

Personally, the scene I like the most in the movie is when the main character's daughter and her friends are trapped in a building trying to call her dad who is a few meters away from them so he can rescue them, but he doesn't hear them, in that part I felt an adrenaline rush because I wanted him to rescue them and finally reunite with his father. With this movie I started to question the way the world is built, and I realized that no one is really prepared for any event like this, we don't know how to react to such strong disasters and if that moment comes, everything we thought was important takes new positions in our lives.

Blog 2: The best holidays I've ever had

 

Hello everyone, today I am going to comment a little about my best vacation. Every year I go on vacation to Temuco to go see my grandmothers and relatives, but I had not visited places more south of Chile until as a family we decided to make a trip to Villarrica, I remember that I was excited even before arriving, I had always wanted to go because I wanted to see a lake.

 We were having a good time, relaxing and enjoying the view until it started to rain with a lot of wind, at another time I would have stayed away from the lake, but I loved the feeling of being in the water and also that it was raining, unfortunately it did not last long but it was a really fun time, because they went to pull us out of the water, then so we took refuge under a tree that was in the place and at that moment I noticed the people who were nearby, I couldn't help but laugh I still have in my memory the people running after their umbrellas. Blog 1: A Country I would like to visit.

 

Good afternoon everyone, since today I have to comment on the country that I would like to go and for me it would be Croatia, the main reason is because in that place is located the island Vis in the region of Dalmatia on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, well this place captured my attention since I saw it in the movie Mamma Mia 2, usually my favorite places are those that have lots of vegetation and when I saw this place I realized that it also has many green areas, I think even when it rains it is pretty , I thought that all the filming of the movie was done in Greece, but no. The island Vis is really beautiful, I love when the characters sing in front of the wonderful scenery with turquoise waters, I really wanted to go even though when I did my research, I found out that it was a little difficult to enter. I think this adventure is worthwhile. That's all, stay well.
